The Spanish, Murcia and Caravaca together to promote the Holy Year 2010 (25/05/2010)

Casillas, Iniesta, Del Bosque and Hierro visit on 7 Caravaca de la Cruz

The mayor and president of the Consortium Caravaca Jubilee Year 2010, Domingo Aranda, the deputy mayor of the City, Francisco Porto, and the president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Angel Maria Villar, have signed this afternoon the partnership agreement allowing the celebration in the New Condomina the game before the World Cup in South Africa between the senior sides in Spain and Poland.

Under the agreement, plus the conclusion of this meeting, referred to other actions such as visits to Caravaca de la Cruz of the Spanish delegation led by its coach Vicente del Bosque.

The agreement with the Royal Spanish Football Federation did not involve any financial cost to the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, as it is funded by the collaboration of Iberdrola, an entity that becomes part of the partner companies of the Holy Year 2010, as approved by the Consortium in its last regular meeting.

Iberdrola will benefit from tax incentives that would mean supporting the Holy Year as Exceptional Event Public Interest.

Remember that the Holy Year 2010 has the declaration of Exceptional Event Public Interest, which involves the application of tax benefits set out in Act 49/2002.

These benefits include tax deductions for certain investments and expenses in compliance with plans and programs established by the Consortium regarding the implementation of promotional and advertising expenses for use in the dissemination of this event.
