About 600 students in 14 school and college choirs in the region have acted today in Caravaca de la Cruz in different urban settings such as the Plaza del Arco, Sculptor Carrilero Square and the Castle esplanade.

This activity, which has moved to Caravaca to mark the Holy Year 2010, is part of the program Cantemus with the Ministry of Education aims to promote the love of music among students Murcia.

In the meeting were the following locations: Alajar (Bacons Bridge), Mariano Barquero Goyanes (Murcia), Jiménez de la Espada (Cartagena), Domingo Valdivieso (Mazarrón), Gil de Junterón (Beniel), The Grove (El Palmar) Nuestra Señora de la Antigua (Monteagudo), Santa Rosa de Lima (El Palmar), El Palmar (El Palmar), Sierra Minera (La Union), San Juan de la Cruz (Caravaca de la Cruz), Antonio Hellín Costa (Port Mazarrón), Cañadas of the Ages (Molina de Segura), San Francisco Ros Giner (Lorca), Francisco Salzillo (Sewell) and Saavedra Fajardo (Murcia).

The students were accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Juan Pedro Sánchez, and the coordinators of Cantemus, Javier Carrillo and José Luis Sanchis.
