The Councilor for Social Services, Maria Jose Soria, has delivered part of the aid that the Caravaca de la Cruz City Council allocates annually to the three delegations that Caritas has in the parishes of the town.
The presidents of Cáritas in El Salvador, Juana Ludeña;
in La Concepción, Carmina Robles, and in San Francisco, Mari Carmen Cantó, have received this subsidy that is used to purchase perishable food to complete the batches that are periodically received from the National Food Fund, as well as to meet other basic needs of families in situations of vulnerability and / or social exclusion.
The Caravaqueño Consistory allocates 18,000 euros a year to Cáritas, an amount that becomes effective in two installments.
The mayor María José Soria highlighted the collaboration and good coordination that exists between the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and Caritas to serve the neediest people and thanked the daily work of all their volunteers.
