The president of NNGG Caravaca, Mayte Jódar, lamented the closure of the Youth Center on weekends in July and August and the abolition of leisure and free time workshops for young people.

"This summer there is no free activity and open to all young people, reviewing the latest news from the Youth Council seems that the entire budget has gone to host a European meeting involving young people from other countries and only some few of Caravaca, it seems good that we continue to host meetings, but we want and demand that the activities reach the whole world, that they are not exclusive or for a very small group.We want the Youth Center to be a full space all year round of healthy and positive activity ", asked Mayte Jódar.
The activities that are scheduled during the year are announced at short notice and do not approach the youth properly.

A few years ago, workshops of Oriental Dance, Modern Dance, Theater, Sevillanas, Climbing, Crafts in English, Computing, Body Expression, Cooking Photography, Musical Evenings, D'Gira Concert of Northwest groups were common in the Youth Center during all the year, as well as guided excursions and activities directed in natural places and places of historical interest.
