The Group of 'Teresian Cities', of which Caravaca forms part, along with 16 other important national destinations, has held an extraordinary general assembly in Madrid to continue with the actions to promote the route 'Traces of Teresa'.
"Among other points, it was agreed to work on a list of conditions for the preparation of a Strategic Plan that allows us to improve the positioning of the brand 'Footprints of Teresa', as one of the most important religious tourism products to be considered within of the national scope, accompanied by an analysis of the previous situation of each of the 17 cities that make up the network of Teresian cities ", as pointed out by the Councilor for Tourism at the Caravaqueño City Council, Gloria Gómez.
The tourist and cultural route 'Traces of Teresa of Jesus' was created within the framework of the commemoration of the V Centenary of the Birth of Saint Teresa, with a vocation for continuity, to project the values ​​and the cultural and humanistic heritage linked to Saint Teresa.
It is a free path, with no time limit, which allows multiple options and which adapts to the needs of the tourist and pilgrim.
