The Robles Chillida Foundation awards thirteen Primary, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training students (23/10/2018)

The Robles Chillida Foundation has presented its annual awards to students of Primary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training.

In its sixth convocation, the effort and academic trajectory of 13 students who have studied in centers of the municipality, granting aid from 300 to 700 euros, for a total amount of 6,200 euros, was recognized.

The award ceremony took place in the Culture Hall of the Cajamurcia Foundation, with the participation of the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno;

the general director of Vocational Training and Special Education Teaching of the Ministry of Education, Sergio López, the president of the Robles Chillida Foundation, Amador López, and the secretary of the same, Francisco Romero, who highlighted that with these study aids It fulfills the will of the founder, Elías Manuel Robles Chillida, to foster love for research and promote excellence, effort, the desire to excel and a job well done.

He also spoke on behalf of the teachers director of the IES 'Ginés Pérez Chirinos', Ginés Pérez.

Within these awards, is the category 'María Chillida Choza', in memory of the mother of the founder, who served as a teacher in Los Royos, and are awarded to the most outstanding students who have studied at any of the school centers. the districts caravaqueñas.

Andrea Corbalán Giménez, Ángela de la Cerda Ferrer and Aracelis Moya Navarro were awarded in this competition.

In the Bachillerato de Ciencias modality the winners were: Álvaro Martínez Martínez, Francisco Dimas García Sánchez, Antonio Jesús Guardiola Olmos, Elena Martínez Bermúdez, Ángel Alfocea Mollina, Juan Pedro López Marín, Lucía López-Fajardo Melgares de Aguilar, Antonio Ángel Sánchez and Carmen Martínez Santillana.

In Professional Training the winning student was Javier Vázquez González.

The caravaqueña foundation Robles Chillida has awarded in the six years to more than ninety students for their outstanding academic records, allocating 57,000 euros to these financial aid.

The foundation also awards the so-called 'Research Awards' on an annual basis, with which they award 30,000 euros each year to projects in the field of Health Sciences, developed by the University of Murcia.

The Robles Chillida Foundation, a posthumous work by Elías Manuel Robles Chillida, was founded in 2011. Among its main goals is the promotion of love for study and research, from the beginnings of academic life to higher levels.
