Until the 16th of November the exhibition 'Half a century with you' is open to the public in the cloister of the old convent of the Carmelite Mothers, organized with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz to close the events of the 50th anniversary of the institute 'San Juan de la Cruz'.
The sample consists of about 11,000 photographs of teachers and students who have passed through the center from the beginning to today.
The councilman of Culture, Óscar Martínez, and the director of the IES 'San Juan de la Cruz', Isidro de la Ossa, together with the clausutro of professors, opened the exhibition that can be visited from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
During the last year, the 'San Juan de la Cruz' has commemorated its half century of existence with different initiatives.
Among them the exhibition 'Confluences' of students and alumni of the Bachelor of Arts and lectures given by former students who have excelled in fields such as sports, science, medicine, arts or letters, among other activities.
