One more year, and there are already four editions, the 'Caravaca Trail Experience' runs this weekend, 27 and 28 October, the mountains of the Northwest Murcia, consolidated as a sport competition within the regional calendar of mountain races and being the final test of the BxM Faster Wear Cup.
The 'Caravaca Trail Experience' has become a benchmark in sports events with solidarity, for the important collaboration provided to the Spanish Foundation for the fight against Leukemia (FELL), being also regional ambassadors of the association 'Yes with cancer ', with which they maintain a collaboration agreement throughout the year.
This event, which fuses the sport side and commitment to the fight against cancer, is organized by the Club Caravaca Trail, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the Caravaqueño Consistory.
This edition will bring together 900 runners and cyclists, divided into four modes of participation: 'Medium' (23 kilometers), 'Promo' (11 kilometers), 'Master' (33 kilometers) and 'Bike' (40 kilometers). .
The 'Master' modality is the third scoring round of the Regional Mountain Racing League and the 'Bike' modality will be the final of the BxM Faster Wear Cup, both of which are official competitions of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.
At the local level, the 'Caravaca Trail Experience' is integrated into the 'Outdoor Series' circuit, consisting of tests of different disciplines, which are based in the municipality, such as resistance crossings, trail running, running and cross.
Supportive and sports stands, marrow donation campaign and other parallel activities will complete the wide offer of this fourth edition of 'Caravaca Trail Experience', which promises to be more exciting than ever and fill the area of ​​La Glorieta de Caravaca with light and color. the Cross, where the starting and finishing area will be located.
Spanish Foundation for the fight against Leukemia (FELL)
Coinciding with the 'Caravaca Trail Experience', the Spanish Foundation for the Fight against Leukemia (FELL), based in Caravaca de la Cruz, will install a stand during Saturday and Sunday at Paseo de la Corredera for those who wish to enter to form part of the National Bank of Donors of Marrow, submitting to a simple blood extraction.
The schedule will be Saturday, October 27, from 11 am to 3 pm, and Sunday, October 28, from 8 am to 3 pm.
In the last edition of the 'Caravaca Trail Experience' more than 160 people became potential donors of marrow.
In addition, the organization of the test donated a total of 3,664 euros to aid and research programs promoted by the FELL and 1,426 euros to the NGO 'Yes With Cancer' through merchandising sales.
