"With the signing of this agreement we try to optimize all the human and material resources of the Security Forces existing in the municipality to guarantee the effective fulfillment of the judicial measures of protection to the victims of gender violence", has informed the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The VIOGEN system brings together public institutions that are competent to deal with gender-based violence to integrate information on cases, predict risk, monitor and protect them, and take preventive measures against incidents or events that may endanger the integrity of the system. victim.
"Viogen thus creates a network for rapid, comprehensive and effective monitoring and protection of women and minors victims of gender-based violence, in which different competent institutions are integrated in the safety of victims, facilitating the transmission of the necessary information for monitoring protection measures, the situation of the victims and the circumstances of the aggressor, "said the delegate, who has mentioned the local police as a fundamental piece in the fight against gender violence given its operation and proximity.
The signing of these documents is the prerequisite for the incorporation of the respective Local Police bodies to 'VIOGEN' in compliance with LO 1/2004, of Comprehensive Protection Measures against Gender Violence.
