The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Miguel Ángel del Amor, visited today the facilities of the company Invisa Plant Biotechnology, located in the Caravaqueña district of Barranda, dedicated to the production of rootstocks of apricot, almond, plum, peach and Cherry trees.
This company produces one million plants per year in 45 square meters thanks to in vitro cultivation.
The purpose of this entity is "to develop and offer to the agricultural sector propagated plants with high phytosanitary, genetic and agronomic quality".
The counselor noted that "this company has 25 employees and is an example of job creation in rural areas."
