At the Professional Music Conservatory 'Leandro Martínez Romero' more than 750 students study.

Its director, Raúl Bartomeu, has pointed out that "the educational project covers both the more 'amateur' type of teaching for those who want to approach music from a playful point of view with the only objective of learning to play an instrument, since either individually or in groups, and with more open and flexible organizational structures, and more formal education, for those who show special aptitudes and wish to deepen the study of an instrument with the aim of accessing higher education in music or Obtaining an official degree equivalent to any Baccalaureate ".

Throughout a school year, in addition to the normal rhythm of classes, there are many projects and activities promoted by the center, such as chamber music cycles, charity concerts, thematic festivals and collaborations with educational centers and associations, among others.
