The band 'Universe' celebrates this Saturday, May 18, its tribute to 'Queen' at the Thuillier theater in Caravaca de la Cruz.
The concert will begin at 10 pm and the tickets have a price of ten euros in advance (New Jewelry, Pub The Note and Wegow online) and twelve euros at the box office.
The five professional musicians that compose 'Universe' will pay homage to the British band, playing their authentic hymns of rock history like 'We will rock you', 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Do not stop me now' and 'Somebody to love ', among others.
"For a few years our band 'Queen Universe' has been touring the whole country, offering a faithful tribute to the mythical band, we propose a staging that does not try to imitate, but to connect with the audience in a unique way, with one of the best direct you could live, an experience from yesterday to the present ", according to the leader of the band, Ángel Martínez Molina.
Bandatributo to Queen
The band 'Queen' formed in London in the year 1970 integrated by the singer Freddie Mercury, the battery Roger Taylor, the guitarist Brian May and the bassist John Deacon.
His complete discography consists of 15 studio albums.
After the death of Mercury and the retirement of John Deacon, May and Taylor have occasionally performed as guest musicians along with other artists.
A few weeks before the death of Freddie, on October 28, 1991, his record company released the second compilation 'Greatest Hits' that had 17 of the greatest hits of 'Queen' between 1981 and 1991. This album was positioned in the first place in the United Kingdom sales lists.
The quintessential tribute to Freddie Mercury was made in 1992, in Wembley, London, in the massive event participated: Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Def Leppard, Elizabeth Taylor, Elton John, Extreme, George Michael, Guns N 'Roses, Ian Hunter, Lisa Stansfield, Liza Minnelli, Metallica, Mick Ronson, Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, Spinal Tap, Tony Iommi and Zucchero, along with the remaining three members of 'Queen' playing the most popular hits of the band.
