The Caravaca Book Fair is celebrated until June 2, accompanied by storytellers and signatures of authors (21/05/2019)

The Old and Used Book Fair of Caravaca de la Cruz is celebrated until June 2 in the Plaza San Juan de la Cruz, surrounded by storytellers, book presentations and signatures of authors as parallel activities for the promotion of reading and promotion of literature.

The booths are open to the public from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The fair is organized by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the Municipal Library, with the collaboration of Urban Books, Endrino Bookstore, Librería Cervantes, editorial 'The ugly bourgeoisie' and editorial 'Gollarín'.

The activities will continue tomorrow, Wednesday May 22, at 7:00 pm, with the storyteller 'Two squirrels and one pineapple', by Inma Ruiz.

On Friday, May 24, at the same time, the company 'Alhory Teatro' will make another storyteller focusing on the football and mystery editorial collection 'Los futbolísimos' and on Saturday, May 25, at 11.30, they will sign copies in the booths of the fair Juan Gil Palao and Ana Gil Quiles, of their respective novels 'Aracil' and 'Toca mi ventana'.

The programming of the Caravaca Book Fair is resumed next week with the signing of writer Luis Leante from Caravaca and Calanparro Fulgencio Caballero, scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, at 7:30 p.m.

The next day, on Wednesday, May 29, will be held, at 19:00, the storyteller 'The goat boba', directed by Inma Ruiz.

On Thursday, May 30, at 8:30 p.m., in the Convent of the Carmelite Fathers, the writer from Caravaca Ignacio Ramos will present his book 'The man of penicillin and other stories', presented by the journalist Juan de Dios Martínez Mateo and musical accompaniment, with Ana Lorencio as soloist.

The publication has been edited by 'La Fea Burguesía'

On Friday, May 31st, at 7:00 p.m., the company 'Alhory Teatro' will return to the Caravaqueña Book Fair with 'The First Adventures of Captain Underpants'.

The activities will be closed on Sunday, June 2, at 7:30 pm, with the signing of copies of Paskual Kantero, artistically known as 'Muerdo' and his book 'The first stone', in which he recounts numerous experiences after four discs and innumerable concerts and trips, including also an anonymous poems book.

'Muerdo' will share this moment of signature of copies with the author Beatriz Esteban and her novels 'Presas', 'Sera fragile' and 'Although rain fire'.

In addition there will be other young promises of literature.
