National, Murcian and local companies meet at the 39th Caravaca Theater Week from July 22 to 28 (12/07/2019)

The Theater Week of Caravaca de la Cruz, which reaches its XXXIX edition, will be held from July 22 to 28 with the participation of different local companies, Murcia and the national scene, which will stage genre shows such as comedy, monologue or historical drama.

The festival -one of the oldest in the Region of Murcia and the largest in Spain within this branch of the performing arts- has been presented on the stage tables of the Thuillier Theater by the Councilor for Culture of the City of Caravaca , Juan Manuel de León;

The prestigious Italian playwright Luigi Pirandello, Nobel Prize for Literature, signs the piece 'Enrique IV', which will be staged on Wednesday July 24 with the caravaqueño Luis Martínez Arasa in the leading role.

'Teatro de la Entrega' stages this adaptation of a universal text that reflects on 'masks', madness and the passage of time.

The Murcian César Oliva directs 'Volvió una noche', the show starring Beatriz Carvajal that will be performed on the night of Thursday, July 25.

It is a comedy by Eduardo Rovner, whose first performance took place in Montevideo, in 1993. The work is one of the best of its author and of contemporary dramaturgy written in Spanish.

On Friday July 26 will arrive at the Thuillier Theater 'Háblame', a production of the consolidated Murcian company Alquibla with María Garralón, the mythical painter Julia of the TV series 'Verano azul', leading the cast.

The XXXIX Theater Week will close on Sunday July 28 with 'Title censored.
