The Robles Chillida Foundation rewards the academic trajectory of 16 caravaqueños students of Baccalaureate, Vocational and Primary Education (30/09/2019)

In the delivery of these grants, the mayor congratulated the students and praised the work of the foundation for its support for study and research

The Robles Chillida Foundation has recognized, for the seventh year, the effort and trajectory of caravaqueños students, with the delivery of the prizes to help the study of Baccalaureate and Professional Training.

Likewise, the foundation has once again supported the primary school students of the districts with the 'María Chillida Choza' awards.

The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García, praised the objectives and the work that drives the caravaqueña foundation, "which promotes love for study and an honest commitment to society. To do this, every academic year, grants are granted economic to students with the most outstanding files and awards are granted to researchers from the University of Murcia ".

The mayor presided over the awards ceremony, together with the president of the Robles Chillida Foundation, Amador López, and members of the board.

Likewise, the general director of Educational Evaluation and Vocational Training of the Autonomous Community, Sergio López Barrancos, participated;

and the deputy Víctor Martínez-Carrasco, together with members of the Municipal Corporation and representatives of the educational community.

The deputy director general of Educational Planning and Human Resources, Andrés Nortes, intervened on behalf of the educational centers.

The teacher Carmen Huguette on behalf of the fathers and mothers and, finally, the students Santos Martínez Ródenas and Fuensanta Vilches Bravo on behalf of the students.

The Foundation awarded a total of 16 young people, who have finished their studies in caravaqueños educational centers, granting aid ranging from 400 to 800 euros.

Later, 'Research Prizes' will be given, which support projects with 30,000 euros in the field of Health Sciences, the result of an agreement with the University of Murcia.

The 'María Chillida Choza' awards, aimed at the most outstanding students at the academic level of the schools of districts, went to María Sánchez Chuecos, Roselyne Marín Sánchez and Sara Moreno Martínez.

The Baccalaureate awards went to Fuensanta Vilches Bravo, Elsa María Moreno García, María Sánchez Espejo, Eva Pérez Sánchez, Ángela María Rodríguez López, Juan Carlos Sánchez Moreno and María Belén García Marín.

The grants to students who have completed Vocational Training of Middle Grade were granted to Santos Martínez Ródenas, Antonio Robles Sánchez and Andrea Gallego López.

The winners in Higher Education Professional Training went to Esteban García Marín, Cristian Martínez Gómez and Mercedes Salcedo López.

The history of the Robles Chillida Foundation begins thanks to the caravaqueño pharmacist Elías Manuel Robles Chillida, who donated his heritage to initiatives that promote citizen health and well-being.

The foundation, created in 2011, believes that an effort to improve, discipline and love for a job well done must be instilled in young generations.

The awards for the study are intended to be a recognition of such virtues, reflected in the best academic records.
