Caravaca de la Cruz has received today a pilgrimage from the Italian province of Brescia, headed by Bishop Luciano Monari, made up of a group of priests and faithful.

On arrival at the Royal Basilica de la Vera Cruz, they have been received by the mayor, José Moreno, and the older sister of the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Vera Cruz, Elisa Giménez-Giron, who have welcomed them to the city ​​and have them transmitted will strengthen ties Brescia, which also venerates Lignum Crucis one.

Then Luciano Monari presided at the celebration of the Holy Mass of the Pilgrim.

The pilgrimage is the result of the 'fam-trip' or familiarization trips promoted by the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the tour operator 'Even.
