The resurfacing involves milling 5 centimeters thick in the right lane of the entire motorway towards Murcia-Caravaca de la Cruz, and subsequent replacement with hot asphalt mix.

Works include mixing rolling across the width of the road (about 12.5 meters) and the reinforcement of the branches and access to the motorway.

The works are part of the planning work for the comprehensive conditioning of the highway, which is included in the concession contract Aunor for the operation and maintenance of high capacity road.

The total budget amounts to more than 9.3 million euros.

Conservation Center Highway

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Public Works visited the Center for Conservation Northwest Highway, which emphasized its "modernity" and "the application of innovation systems development operations integrated conservation needed, including cleaning, auscultation, repair and replacement, winter maintenance and surveillance ".
