The Popular Party Caravaca is organizing a trip to Madrid to visit the Congress of Deputies and Royal Palace as the first of the planned activities in a new phase aimed at opening up the party to supporters and society in general, as it has been released in the last meeting of the local executive committee.
The trip, expected to take place on Monday 21 November, although it remains to be confirmed, has as main attraction a visit to the Congress of Deputies, one of the two Houses of Parliament, located at Carrera de San Jeronimo.
The visit will be guided by the Murcian deputy Teodoro Garcia and her emblematic of this building of the nineteenth century such as the meeting room, or chamber, the library or visit the main lobby.
In addition, Teodoro Garcia explained how the functioning of the plenary sessions and the daily life of a deputy.
The trip to Madrid will also include a tour of the Royal Palace, one of the major monuments of the capital of Spain, begun to build in the eighteenth century under the reign of Felipe V.
"This trip wants to start a series of cultural and social activities, away from the purely political, with the aim of opening the Popular Party caravaqueña society and make coexistence between supporters, members and all people who want to join," he explained the PP president of Caravaca, José Francisco García.
At the last meeting of the local executive committee they analyzed the present municipal issues, issues that the party leads the regular plenary session next Monday and other internal affairs of the party for the coming months.
