As a result of the cooperation agreement signed last year between the two institutions, the young Caravaqueña Pilar López Andúgar is in the said German city, where she will remain for a period of one year to complete her language training and participate in other training, social and volunteering.
In this regard, the Councilor for Youth and Education in the Consistory Caravaqueño, Esther Poveda, wanted to encourage young people from Caravaqueño to inform the Young Center of the opportunities presented by this exchange program, "since it allows an experience of Linguistic and cultural immersion in a city with which they maintain close ties, being twinned with Caravaca de la Cruz. "
The San Juan de la Cruz Foundation facilitates the stay in Obertshausen and seeks the integration of young people, through a training program, practices and volunteering.
For its part, the Youth Department is responsible for making the selection and advise the participants in the period prior to travel, as well as during their stay in Germany.
"The aim is for those young people who wish to live an intercultural experience abroad, while reinforcing their language training," Poveda recalled.
Pilar López Andújar receives German classes and practices in a large area of ​​the German city.

Like Pilar, other young caravaqueños can live this experience of learning and formation in the German city, thanks to the agreement in force between the Foundation San Juan de la Cruz and the City council of Caravaca de la Cruz.
