The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz has published on the municipal website a survey to provide the neighbors with ideas and proposals for the drafting of the 'Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategy' (EDUSI).
This is one of the measures of citizen participation that during these last weeks are materializing with the objective of defining the measures that will be integrated in this plan of actions that can be financed through ERDF funds.
"With the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy, we want to define the challenges and lines of action that will help improve our municipality in the coming years. It is imperative to involve citizens, offering them the opportunity to reflect their opinion through various channels of participation "Said the mayor, José Moreno.
The European Union requires that projects which opt for ERDF funding should form part of a common development strategy, covering all important aspects of the municipality.
The development of the DUSI strategy was a measure approved by the Plenary and the purpose of it is to work in four main lines of action: electronic administration and 'smart cities';
Energy promotion and sustainable transport;
Efficient use of heritage resources and, finally, regeneration of disadvantaged urban areas.
To participate in the development process of this development strategy, just visit the web portal caravaca.org and access the aforementioned survey through a banner installed on the main page with the title of 'Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development.

The surveys can also be completed in person at the General Registry of the City Hall, the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez', the Youth Center, the Employment and Training Center and Home for the Elderly.
