The writer and cooperative Pilar Pueyo presents in Caravaca de la Cruz her book 'Ethiopian Pride'.
The event will take place this Saturday, November 19, at 11.30 in the auditorium of the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez'.
The novel, signed with the pseudonym of Habesha Kuru, traverses, through the eyes of a child, the fundamental places of Ethiopia, telling its history and traditions.
"Pilar Pueyo wants with this publication to dignify the Ethiopian people and give a multicultural image, far beyond the poverty they suffer, showing us a place where they have great friends," according to the mayor who heads the area of ​​Social Services in the City Hall Of Caravaca de la Cruz, Mª José Soria.
Pilar Pueyo has traveled through Europe, Asia and America but feels a great affinity with the African continent.
'Ethiopian Pride' has as its starting point the year 2011, when it starts this work at the request of Ethiopians who see the need to change the vision that has in the West in relation to his country.
"Pilar Pueyo was anxious to go to Ethiopia since she was a child, and she had been documenting for years, thinking that once on the ground she would not exceed her expectations but she was confused because she fell short Ethiopia made a big impact.
