The Governing Board of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz has approved the projects to be implemented in the urban area and in districts, within the Regional Action Plan to Promote Works and Municipal Services (PARDOSM).
Specifically, as has been reported by the Urban Planning Councilor, Enrique Fuentes, three works will be carried out, with a total budget of 221,500 euros, contributed in 89.6% by the Autonomous Community and in 10.3 % By the municipality of caravaqueño.
In the urban area is going to proceed to the reform of the avenue of Granada, from calle Colón to Avenida de la Constitución.
"It is a stretch that is very deteriorated and that it is necessary to reform on a date as important as the Jubilee Year 2017, as it is the main entrance to the city from the Northwest Motorway," said Fuentes.
The work will consist of the renovation of irrigation networks, the replacement of water and sewerage services, the modification of lighting, the replacement of steelworks and the alignment of new curbs.
This action will be financed with 161,000 euros.
On the other hand, public lighting will also be replaced in Calle Mayor and adjacent to the hamlet of Pinilla, with a budget of 31,000 euros, as well as the renovation of lighting in the 'Noguericas' area of ​​Archivel, with 29,500 euros .
"Once these projects have been approved by the Municipal Board of Governors and sent to the Autonomous Community, they are pending the supervision report to begin the recruitment process and start the works," said the Councilor for Urbanism.
