The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz participates next Monday, November 21, in the day of accessibility 'Designing cities and towns for all people', organized by the ACS Foundation, the ONCE Foundation and the CERMI Región de Murcia, in collaboration With the Ministry of Culture.
The paper reserved for Caravaca is titled 'Acting kindly.
Experiences and good practices in accessibility 'and will be the responsibility of the municipal technical architect José Manuel Alcázar, who will expose the actions that are being carried out on public roads to improve accessibility conditions.
Specifically, Alcazar will talk about the plan to improve sidewalks and pedestrian crossings, driveway level and ramps and elevators to access the historic, administrative and educational buildings of the city.
The conference, aimed at cultural and tourism managers and programmers, will address themes such as 'accessibility in urbanism and building', 'accessible tourism' and 'accessible leisure'.
In addition to the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, representatives from other organizations such as the Network of Museums of the Region of Murcia, the ONCE Foundation, the Association of Parents and Children with Problems of Hearing and Language (Aspanpal) or the Department of Historic Heritage Of the Region of Murcia, among others.
The day 'Designing cities and towns for all people' will be held from 9 am to 3 pm on Monday, November 21, at the Regional Museum of Modern Art in Cartagena.
