Students from all secondary schools in the municipality have today raised their voice in favor of equality between men and women and against any form of mistreatment, adding to the commemoration of the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women, along with City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Center for the Care of Women Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI).
The Councilor for Social Services and Women, Mª José Soria, has expressed her strongest rejection of any form of violence against women and has vindicated the firm commitment of all society to fight against this injustice.
Soria also stressed the importance of influencing values ​​education, which promotes respect and gender equality.
The events organized on the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women will continue on Monday with the legal workshop 'Physical and psychological maltreatment: consequences for minors', which is expected to attend more than 80 professionals Of the Northwest Region involved in the care of the victims.
