The Department of Education has invited all schools in the municipality to visit the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution.
More than 400 students will spend this week through the Consistorial building, to visit its main facilities, and to know firsthand the functions and services provided by the democratic institution closest to the citizen.
Visits have begun with the students of the San Francisco public school and the Ascruz special education school, which have been received by the mayor, José Moreno, and the councilor who heads the Education and Youth areas, Esther Poveda, and have simulated a Plenary session from the place occupied by the twenty-one councilors of the Municipal Corporation of Caravaca, making multiple proposals to improve the city and the quality of life of its neighbors.
The Department of Education has also promoted the holding of a contest for writing and painting on this fundamental rule, whose prizes will be delivered on December 6, Spanish Constitution Day, at 11:00 am, in the Plenary Hall.
