The Medieval Tournament of 'Legend Specialists' returns to Plaza de Toros on December 8
Coinciding with the bridge of the Constitution, Caravaca de la Cruz hosts the thirteenth edition of its Medieval Market, where more than 200 craftsmen from different points of the Spanish geography and some foreign countries such as Poland , Hungary or France, as announced by the Councilor for Tourism, Commerce and Crafts, Gloria Gomez.
The XVIII Medieval Market, organized by the City Council and the Association of Craftsmen of Caravaca de la Cruz, is accompanied by several novelties, such as the popular meals made with lamb to be served on Calle Rafael Tejeo or the permanent stage of medieval theater, Which will be located in Elías Los Arcos street.
The Great Medieval Tournament of 'Legend Specialists', returns to the Bullring on Thursday, December 8, at 17.00.
Tickets can be purchased at Nueva Joyería (Calle Mayor, Caravaca), on the ticket platforms online and at the box office before the show.
The program of activities will begin on Tuesday, December 6, at 11.30 with the inaugural parade and the opening proclamation.
From that moment on, the streets of the historical center will be filled with itinerant activities of animation, with medieval warriors, court jesters, alchemists, dancers and musicians, among other personalities of the Middle Ages.
Also during the four days of the market, there will be fixed activities, such as the exhibition of miniature caravaqueña architecture of the artisan Andrés Zarco, that will be located in the church of San José of the Greater street, and the Medieval Children Fair and artisan Workshops, located to the The end of Calle Mayor and in Rafael Tejeo.
Among the performances planned for this year's edition are Emmaluna's 'Air Dance', winner of the 'Tú sí que vales' television competition;
The representation of the work 'Out of Time', written by Luis Leante and represented by the company 'Entrementes Teatro', or the Great Cabaret of Medieval Circus, by Zircus Divinorum.
During the four days of market, the Department of Emergencies, Citizen Security and Traffic will launch a special device, made up of agents of the Local Police, Civil Guard and health personnel, supported by volunteers of Civil Protection and Red Cross.
The deterrent parking areas will be located in the old railway station and in the fairgrounds, next to the Francisco Fernández Torralba sports complex.
