On the occasion of the 'European Week of 112', Caravaca de la Cruz will be tomorrow, Friday 11, scene of an exhibition of media and operatives of the various emergency services that the Region of Murcia has.
The Councilor for Security, Traffic and Emergencies in the City of Caravaca, Pedro Antonio Muñoz, has reported that this activity will take place in Plaza del Templete and Paseo de La Corredera, from 9.30 to 13.30 hours.
"The various schools and associations of the municipality will visit the exhibition spaces and attend the programmed demonstrations", as detailed Pedro Antonio Muñoz, who wanted to encourage all the neighbors to witness this exhibition and to know the important work that professionals perform Emergency services.
The Consortium for the Extinction of Fire and Rescue of the Region of Murcia, Civil Protection units specialized in transmissions, mountain rescue, underwater rescue, rescue unit, civil protection volunteers, Red Cross, Defense against Forest Fires, emergency health services and Local Police.
The European Union countries celebrate the 'European 112 Single Emergency Telephone Week' with the aim of bringing citizens closer to the operation of emergency services and promoting self-protection behaviors that help save lives.
Likewise, the aim is also to make the telephone 112 known and to make the work of the workers more visible, while highlighting the advantage of having a unique number for all emergencies for the entire European territory as a fundamental element of security.
This exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Presidency, through the General Direction of Citizen Security and Emergencies, with the collaboration of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Ministry of Education and Health.
