'Jubilee kitchens' make this weekend Caravaca in the gastronomic center of the Region (10/10/2017)

The gastronomic event 'Las cocinas del jubileo' is celebrated this weekend in Caravaca de la Cruz, with tasting of elaborate tapas, children's workshops, showcooking and lectures on traditional, traditional, creative and monastic gastronomy.

From 13 to 15 October, the public will be able to enjoy a wide program of activities, on the Paseo de La Corredera and in the auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura 'Emilio Sáez'.

This gastronomic show, which brings together innkeepers from the Northwest Region and large figures of regional cuisine, is part of the events commemorating the Jubilee Year 2017, organized by the Foundation Camino de la Cruz, with the collaboration of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia.

The event will be attended by the chef with Estrella Michelín Pablo González, Sr. María José, Canal Cocina, and Murcia Firo Vázquez, Pedro Marín or David López, among others, who will offer presentations and turn 'The kitchens of Jubilee' into a great 'buffet' in which attendees can enjoy tapas of great quality.

Another attraction of 'The Jubilee Kitchens' will be the 'Minigourmet', with a toy library and food service and specific workshops for the little ones, where babyburgers, cookies, sushi, muffins or different kinds of desserts will be made. .

The children's activities will also be located in La Corredera, with limited capacity.

The innkeepers will offer for three days prepared tapas at a price of 2 euros tapa or post, 1.5 euros glass of wine and 1 euro beer, soda or water.

In addition to the stands, will be installed foodtrucks Estrella Levante and Café Salzillo.

The companies Postres Reina, Grupo Fuertes, Cafés Salzillo and Estrella Levante, as patrons of the Camino de la Cruz Foundation, will donate the event to the Association of Families of Persons with Intellectual Disability in the Northwest (APCOM).

Access to the tapas area, showcookings, lectures and workshops for children is free.

For children's workshops, registrations can be made by phone at 968 369100 and at the same door (until capacity is limited.

The stand hours are Friday and Saturday, from 12.30 to 16.30 and from 20.30 to 00.30 hours, and Sunday from 12.30 to 16.00 hours.
