The Council of Commerce and Consumer Affairs of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz has launched a campaign for a greater number of professional establishments in the municipality to adhere to the Arbitration System of Consumption, as an extrajudicial instrument, fast, effective and free of charge to solve the claims of consumers or users, guaranteeing better protection of their rights.
To this end, the technician responsible for the Municipal Consumer Office (OMIC) has initiated a round of visits to local businesses and services, in which it reports the advantages of being part of this system, which are already adhered to a total of 339 Caribbean companies.
The publicly-held company offers a commitment that all claims of an economic nature that its clients may wish to solve, can be resolved in a fair, free, fast and simple way, without having to go to the Courts of Justice, which is one more element of quality that the person must evaluate when deciding where to acquire their goods and services.
The Consumer Arbitration System is the maximum guarantee of the level of response that an establishment offers its customers in the event of a claim.
The companies that join this mechanism of conflict resolution have an official badge, which also means an improvement in terms of image and quality.
For consumers and users, going to establishments affiliated with the Arbitration System of Consumers supposes the opportunity to participate directly in the solution to the possible problems that arise with the product or service purchased, having a second resource, since previously has used direct mediation with the employer.
