Professionals involved in cases of gender violence have participated in a seminar to promote socio-health coordination, which has been developed in the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez' of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The general director of Women and Equality of Opportunities, Alicia Barquero, and the Councilor for Women, Family and Social Services, María José Soria, have opened this day focused on professional practice in the areas of Health and Social Services.
The Caravaca seminar is one of the six that have been held in recent months in the Region, with the aim of improving coordination between the public resources of the different administrations and the Regional Network of Specialized Resources in Gender Violence.
In them, the exchange and adoption of good practices is promoted and professional skills are fostered for detection and intervention in cases of gender violence.
Specifically, in Caravaca de la Cruz, the seminar focused on the Emergency Department and health professionals, social services and resources specialized in gender violence participated in the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín, Moratalla, Bullas, Mula, Campos del Río, Albudeite, Pliego and Calasparra.
