The Crossing of Resistance in Mountain 'Sierras Del Noroeste Murciano', of the Sports Association 'Adenow', is celebrated on March 3, with the full quota of inscriptions.
This non-competitive test, known in the Murcia mountaineering world as 'La Clásica', has been presented in the Plenary Hall by Caravaca de la Cruz City Council by the Councilor for Sports, María José Soria;
the general director of Sports of the Autonomous Community, Alonso Gómez, and the president of the association promoting the event, Alejandro Medina.
The crossing preserves the essence of its first edition, since the participants will not know the route until the day of its celebration.
"It is a journey of resistance where you will enjoy and compete with yourself, to live an experience of 100% mountain coexistence in a unique environment and environment," said Maria Jose Soria, who explained that more than 150 participants will perform a total of 42 kilometers, with an accumulated altitude of about 2,500 meters, along a route of a high level of difficulty.
The association 'Adenow' is a link between nature lovers and disciplines such as spelunking, mountaineering, climbing, mountaineering or canyoning.
It was created with the purpose of promoting these sports practices, using the numerous natural resources that the Northwest Region has.
Its components promote different activities every year, such as the mountain resistance journey or natural environments.
