The judge of First Instance and Instruction No. 2 of Caravaca de la Cruz has agreed, by order of February 12, 2018, the acquittal on the preliminary proceedings opened as a result of an anonymous report presented at the Police Station of the National Police of Lorca

The Prosecutor appreciates in her report that the payment of the aforementioned services is not constitutive of any of the criminal offenses that were imputed in the aforementioned anonymous report.

In view of the tests carried out, it is considered accredited that the paid work was carried out.

The facts go back to the year 2012, during the legislature of government of the PP, a businessman presented an invoice in the caravaqueño consistory claiming 42,338 euros, owed to him, for surveillance services provided in the industrial estate of Cavila.

In 2015 the aforementioned businessman, accompanied by his lawyer, returned to claim in the municipality the payment of the same, being these paid with the respective favorable reports of the auditor and the treasurer, just as has been done with the debt that the municipality is dragging of Caravaca de la Cruz.

After the study conducted by the investigating judge, he understood that there was no criminal relevance in the facts of the complaint;

in particular, that there were no indications of any of the crimes reported, which is why, on December 28, 2016, the aforementioned judge agreed, by reasoned order, to dismiss and file the case.

As a result of the new anonymous report presented last year, in the Police Station of the National Police of Lorca, and at the request of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 2 of Caravaca de la Cruz, the City Council sent all the documentation requested by the Fiscal Ministry.

In relation to this matter, José Moreno has stated that he has never been investigated and that at no time was the car notified to him by the Court, remembering that this complaint was already filed in 2016 "because there was no crime or arbitrariness. in the performance of the consistory ".
