The Governing Council on a proposal from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, has authorized a total of 374,835 euros for recruitment until December this year, residential places and day center for people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz.
This is 40 places, of which 20 are for stays in residence and 20 in day center for people with intellectual disabilities and are in a situation of dependency.
These services provide comprehensive care to these people, in order to improve or maintain the highest possible level of personal autonomy and support their families and caregivers.
The Community has spent the last four months to EUR 18.3 million in contracts for the maintenance of residential places and day centers for people with intellectual disabilities in the region.
Specifically, we have hired 1,660 seats, of which 1,546 correspond to day centers and 114 residences.
