The Department of Sports City of Caravaca has offered special programming for the summer months.
"Once the Municipal Sports Schools closed and the activities and competitions that take place throughout the course, we have prepared a range of activities for July and August, covering all ages, and that essentially links the leisure and sport" as explained by the mayor Emilio Perez.
A new feature of the summer program is the School of Tennis, which will be led by Antonio Martinez, "Valdano", player and coach with extensive experience.
The intention is that this school has a continuity throughout the year and students are also involved activities such as competitions with other schools and visits to facilities and tennis clubs in other parts of the Spanish geography.
It will provide four levels: beginner, advanced, competition and adults.
Moreover, also will start from Monday to Friday school "Sport and Leisure", in groups of 10 to 20 children, divided by age.
The objective of this activity is to provide an alternative to parents during the holiday period and at the same time promoting sport in a fun way.
This school will complement the campaign "Learn to Swim", which remains one of the flagship of the Sports Department for their high demand in the urban area and in the districts where it is taught.
The school enrollment "Sport and Leisure" and contemplate swimming courses 20% discount for large families.
The "August Deportivo" composed of various competitions in racquetball, tennis and football, which is scheduled for Aug. 6.

Moreover, it is recalled that the facilities of the municipal swimming pool is now open to the public, Monday to Friday from 12.45 to 19.45 hours and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11.00 to 19.45.
The entrance fee is 2 euros for adults and 1.50 for children, with discounts for large families.
