The Conservatory of Music "Leandro Martinez Romero" in Caravaca de la Cruz celebrates the tenth anniversary of its founding with a series of concerts, lectures and courses.
The activities planned for the coming weeks have been presented this morning by the mayor, Domingo Aranda, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Carmen Ruiz, the center's director, Antonio Andreu Torrecilla, and Professor Maria Sandoval.
Aranda Sunday expressed his satisfaction for the important role that develops educational and artistic Conservatory while thanked the teachers and students who demonstrate involvement with caravaqueña society, working in numerous activities and official functions.
The director of the Conservatory, which also had words of thanks to all colleagues who have gone through the center, highlighted the evolution of the Conservatory, which has grown from 300 students in 2002 to over 900 in this course.
The opening session commemorating the launch of Caravaca conservatory will be next February 27 at 20.00, with a concert in the theater Thuillier in charge of the "Big Band", the group of double reeds and the set clarinet.
On Sunday March 3 will stage the musical "Anastasia" starring students of Dance and Orchestra.
The musical, due to the wide acceptance by the public must be plotted on double pass, at 11.00 and 13.00, in the theater Thuillier.
From 4 to 8 March will be held on II Guitar Festival Caravaca, involving Bernardino Rodríguez (March 4, 20 hours in classroom Cajamurcia), Carmen Maria Ros (March 5, 20:00 pm, in classroom Cajamurcia) Miguel Trápaga (March 6, 20.00 pm in Council Chamber), Cecilio Perera (March 7, 20.00 hrs Plenary Hall).
The Festival will close on Friday 8 March with a lecture by Marco Smaili (16.30 in hall of the Conservatory) and a concert by students of Guitar (20.00 hours in Hall of the Conservatory).
The Orchestra and Conservatory Band join the commemoration of the tenth anniversary concerts on 12 and 14 March, at 20.00 in the theater Thuillier.
On Friday, April 5 at 20.00 there will be a meeting of Flutes and Monday April 8 will be held the final concert by the faculty of the Conservatory.
The cycle Conservatory anniversary memorial also includes recreational and training purposes, as of Isidoro Piano Course de la Ossa, scheduled for 3, 4 and 5 April.
