Internationally renowned Guitarists offer concerts in Caravaca from 4 to 8 March (27/02/2013)

Five recitals are scheduled guitar free

Among the events commemorating the tenth anniversary of the Conservatory of Music "Leandro Martinez Romero", from 4 to 8 March will be held on Guitar Festival II Caravaca City, with the participation of various composers, guitarists and teachers of international renown.

The festival has been launched today by the mayor, Domingo Aranda, accompanied by regional director Cajamurcia, Pedro Antonio Hurtado, and conservatory professor and coordinator of the festival, Eric Tinoco, who have referred to the event as a festival guitar class for the prestige of all participating musicians.

The festival will begin on Monday, March 4, at 20.00 in the Cultural Hall for a concert Cajamurcia Bernardino Rodriguez Mirror.

This guitarist, born in Mexico, has won several awards including the overall prize of European Contest IV Di Chitarra Classica.

On Tuesday, March 5 at 20.00 concert moved to the convent of the Carmelite Fathers and shall run from the Murcia cago Carmen María Ros, consisting of teachers and prestigious scholarship to join the Guildhall School of Music in London.

The concert will be Wednesday, March 6 at 20.00 in the Plenary Hall of the City Hall and stars Miguel Trápaga, professor of guitar at the Conservatory of Music in Madrid.

Trápaga has performed at major theaters and auditoriums in the country and elsewhere internationally prominent as the Auditorium of the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Pushkin Museum in Moscow and the Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore.

On Thursday March 7 concert is scheduled Mexican Cecilio Perera, who throughout his long career he has appeared as soloist with orchestras world-class, which include the Salzburg Youth Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba or Vivaldi Conservatory in Alessandria, among others.

Furthermore, Perera is credited Guitar top prizes (First Prize at the Michel Pitalunga in Alessandria, First Prize in Boston and First Prize in the "Leo Broker" of Havana).

This concert will take place at 20.00 in the Plenary Hall.

The Guitar Festival II Caravaca de la Cruz also includes holding a course given by all participants in the concert guitarists.

On Friday, March 8 will be closed the festival with a concert by the students of the course.

Access to the concerts is free, first-served basis.
