The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its Department of Women, Family and Social Development, joins the celebration of United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace.
From 4 to 22 March, the exhibition hall of the House of Culture Emilio Sáez host the exhibition "Equal Opportunities", consisting of a collection of paintings made by components of the Cultural Association "The Jardinico".
As part of the activities of the Women's Day, on days 4, 5 and 6 March will be held at the Municipal Centre, Employment and Equal processing workshop esparto, taught by Maria Jose Soria, of Women's Association "Water and Earth", and the craftsman Ramon Ortiz.
Moreover, those responsible for the Department and representatives of various women's groups and associations in the municipality participate in forums on local media.
The events continue with II Tribute to Women, which will be submitted by the official chronicler of the Region of Murcia, José Antonio Melgares and will take place on March 15 at 19.30 in the auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura Emilio Saez.
Scheduled activities will culminate on Friday, March 22, at 20.30 in the Plenary Hall of the City Hall with the XII Tribute to Women to Women Entrepreneurs, whose name will be revealed in the course of the event.
The tribute will be entertained by the students of Music and Dance Conservatory of Caravaca.
