Local Police Caravaca de la Cruz has proceeded to the arrest of two people with more than 100 kilograms of copper material.
Agents Security Panel was stopped at a high cylinder vehicle, which fled at high speed and was intercepted moments later.
The chief of the local police explained that, to register the vehicle, were located more than 100 kilograms of copper wiring, allegedly embezzled public lighting.
The two occupants of the vehicle, a 25-year Spanish and Romanian 25, were arrested and have been at the disposal of the judicial authority.
The operation took place during one of the preventive controls the local police Caravaca is developing a regular basis to prevent theft, especially copper, which are occurring in industrial and municipal public.
In recent months there have been several arrests and seizures of material within this special device, such as 300 kg of stolen copper in the neighboring town of Moratalla that agents recovered last December.
