The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the Municipal Library has prepared a comprehensive program of activities to mark the Book Fair.

From May 10 to June 2 related events will be held to promote and encourage reading as meetings with authors, signatures, book presentations and public readings of outstanding works of literature.

The councilman of Culture, Maria Cruz Perez, and the head of the Municipal Library, Juan Antonio Martinez Piqueras, were made public today the schedule, which is scheduled for Saturday, 11.00 to 13.00 in the past of the Glorieta , with book signing by the author of the Hoyica Pérez and Martínez Egea illustrator, author of the children's story "The Columbian".

On Saturday, at 19.30 at House of Culture, also will be the presentation of the novel "It happened in Begastri", the Murcia María José Sanjuan.

Old Book Fair and chance, by the urban Ramon bookseller, will remain open to the public until June 2, during the morning and afternoon.

The councilman of Culture has made a call for participation in these activities, "with which it seeks to promote reading, cultural enrichment and supporting writers, most of them in the Region of Murcia".
