400 secondary students participated today in the "Young Researchers" educational program

The Director General of Educational Planning and Attention to Diversity, María Begoña Iniesta, accompanied by the Councillor for Education in the city of Caravaca, Carmen Ruiz, this morning visited the CEIP Basilio Saez occasion of the launching of the language immersion program English in kindergarten.

The caravaqueño school is one of six centers in the Region of Murcia with the experimental program of the Ministry of Education.

This initiative aims to facilitate the transition from the Early Childhood Education and Bilingual Schools Elementary Murcia program.

During a daily session specialist English teacher uses the target language exclusively to communicate with students.

"Young Researchers" Programme

Moreover, the Director General of Educational Planning and Attention to Diversity and Education Councillor attended a talk "Young Scholars" program, held today at the Thuillier theater with the participation of 400 students from Secondary Caravaca, Cehegín and Calasparra.

The talk, sponsored by the Ministry of Education was held in collaboration with the Foundation for Medical Education and Molina de Segura Murcia University and the city of Caravaca de la Cruz.
