The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has renewed the cooperation agreement with the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers for the health and safety of the events of cultural, sports, tourism and holiday type occurring in the town coverage, thus strengthening work performed by law enforcement bodies.
Mayor Domingo Aranda, and the president of the association, Pedro Antonio Muñoz, this morning signed an agreement, by which the Consistory caravaqueño provide the amount of 12,000 euros per year to fund the costs of providing the required services.
The delegation of Civil Protection in Caravaca de la Cruz is formed by more than fifty active volunteers.
The mayor highlighted the dedication and commitment of volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the main events taking place in Caravaca throughout the year and highlighted its role in the development of the festivities.
