The Director General of Vocational Training, Joaquin Buendia, accompanied by the Councillor for Education in the city of Caravaca, Carmen Ruiz, today held a meeting with the management team and representatives of parents the Secondary School of Gines Perez Chirinos Caravaca.
After the meeting, the CEO announced that the Ministry of Education will expand educational offerings for next academic year with the implementation of the Basic Vocational Training Vehicle Maintenance and Administrative Services at IES Chirinos, and the Vocational Basic Computer and Telecommunications at IES San Juan.
Also, for the second year, will again be offering 60 seats in First Cycle Intermediate Care Nursing Assistants in Chirinos.
Councillor for Education, Carmen Ruiz, rated very positively the efforts being made by the Ministry of Education to expand the educational opportunities of the municipality and to address the interests and motivations of the students.
Moreover, he added that it is working in coordination with Northwest companies, to launch the Dual Vocational Training, a mode in teaching that takes place in regime alternating between the school and the company and aims to combat Youth unemployment and strengthening the connection between education and the labor market area.
The CEO also explained that visited the center's facilities to study future modernization of Gines Perez Chirinos center, and that center is the most important level of the Northwest Region, with more than 1,000 students, of which 521 Training study cycles.
