The City of Caravaca de la Cruz and Murcia Association of Consumers and Users (Cosumur) yesterday held the event "Youth and responsible consumption" in the IES Oróspeda Archivel.
In the same part of town councilors of Caravaca de la Cruz, in the areas of Trade, María Teresa Romero Milanes, and Education, Carmen Ruiz Mulero;
IES Director Oróspeda Michelangelo Jorquera, and the director of communication Consumur area, Belen Rodriguez.
During the ceremony took place the presentation of the online magazine "ConsuCaravaca", a training project on responsible consumption that had the final participation of 13 students of 4th ESO IES Oróspeda.
They presented their work, consisting of reports and estadísticias made by them with the themes of recycling and consumption of alcohol and snuff in the adolescent population.
Subsequently, the talk "The contribution of responsible consumption for a healthier life", by José Martínez Sandoval, psychologist and volunteer Consumur was given.
Finally, we proceeded to the delivery of awards to participating students as well as teachers and school.
"This activity is related to the protocol in terms of consumption planned for 2014, included in the partnership agreement the City has with the Murcia Association of Consumers and Users", has detailed the Councillor of Commerce, Maria Teresa Romero.
For his part, President of Consumur, Roberto Barceló, stressed the importance of developing this type of action "and government entities and private institutions can promote each under the powers corresponds mechanisms favor the creation of a collective consciousness generated, while curricular aspects for education and training in the Responsible Consumption ".
