The Department of Education recognizes the trajectory of students caravaqueños (22/09/2014)

The Department of Education of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz celebrated the opening of the academic year 2014-2015.

The event, held at the House of Culture, was chaired by the mayor, Domingo Aranda, and was attended by representatives of the local education community.

The mayor, the mayor of Education and Director of the Institute of Archivel Oróspeda Michelangelo Jorquera, took stock of educational opportunities with the municipality has and reviewed some of the educational projects taught students between caravaqueño, such as programs "Teaching Digital e-XXI" a "Company in my school" and in ensañaza Bilingual Nursery and Primary, among others.

Similarly, reference to educational provision offered by other schools caravaqueños as the Official Language School, the Conservatory of Music, Adult School and the National Open University, among others did.

During the event, the Department of Education gave out special awards to high school students, Vocational and Specialised Education.

The awards have recognized the path of four students who have studied in centers Caravaca de la Cruz, according to the criteria established in the rules and grade point average.

The special awards were awarded to Daniel Moreno Martínez (Bachelor of Science and Technology), Ana Giménez Sang (School of Humanities and Social Sciences), Maria Alba Celdrán Valera (Bachelor of Arts, Performing Arts, Music and Dance) and José Manuel García Marín (Higher Vocational Training).

Students received a certificate and a prize of 250 euros each.

The opening course was enlivened by guitarists and alumni of the Conservatory of Caravaca de la Cruz Ramón Emilio Sánchez Soriano and Maria Bastida Abril, both winners in various competitions, festivals and awards from regional and national levels.

Also participated Jesús Ortega Martínez, also formed in the caravaqueño Conservatory and recently awarded by the Ministry of Education and Culture with the National Award for Education in Art Education Professional Music.
