Bullfighting Festival to benefit the Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly Caravaca (12/05/2015)

The bullfighters 'Finito de Córdoba', 'Rafaelillo' Antonio Ferrera, Daniel Luque and Antonio José, 'The Blonde', by the bullfighter Filiberto, altruistically participate in the bullfighting festival organized by biting Protective Association Members the Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly benefit of the nursing that these religious serving in Caravaca de la Cruz.

After 38 years, the residence facilities need extensive reform to change windows, pipes and wiring, and to adapt nursing and assisted the elderly rooms.

The sisters have annual aid that gives them the City of Caravaca, a percentage of the money from the pensions of the elderly and support of the congregation, insufficient to meet the costs of reform, without which it would have to close the facilities.

In recent months they have launched several solidarity to help raise funds required to cover the work actions.

Members Protective Association collected more than 3,700 euros during the Medieval Market held in Caravaca on the bridge of the Immaculate, selling sweets and cheeses;

1,500 euros were achieved in the proceeds from the Musical The Passion "Jesus is dying today," the representation that took place on March 21.

The Conservatory of Music Lorca Narciso Yepes has also worked with the nursing home, through the convert who offered on Saturday in the theater Thuillier, with which he managed to raise 1,000 euros.
