As provided in the electoral law, the means of today was held the constitutive plenary session of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, which has been proclaimed as mayor José Moreno Medina.
The official ceremony began with the creation of the Council of Elders, composed of the mayors Enrique Fuentes and José Carlos Gómez, and the subsequent oath or promise to all councilors to the Spanish Constitution.
With the favorable votes of the Socialist (9 councilors) Party and the abstention of the Popular Party (8 councilmen) and votes for their respective candidates Citizens (2 councilors) and Winning Caravaca (2 councilors), has been elected mayor José Moreno Medina, takes over from Domingo Aranda Muñoz.
During the presentation period, both the new mayor and the spokespersons of the opposition groups, have expressed the strong will face this new stage of local politics with a commitment to work for the present and the future of the town, looking consensus for the welfare of all its neighbors.
After the plenary session, the City of Caravaca de la Cruz is constituted as follows:
-Team Government (Municipal Group Socialist Party): José Moreno Medina, Esther Marin Poveda, Enrique Fuentes Blanc, Maria Julia Gimenez Marin Donate Antonio Navarro, Maria Jose Soria Martinez, Oscar Martinez Garcia, Maria Gloria Gómez Sánchez and Pedro Antonio Muñoz Lopez.
Grupo Municipal People's Party: Jose Francisco Garcia Fernandez, Sergio Lopez Canyons, Monica Sanchez Garcia, Jose Santiago Villa Plaza, Ana Belen Martinez Fernandez, Jose Antonio Furio Rodriguez, Manuel Sanchez and Maria Huertas Amador Rodriguez Mulero.
Grupo Municipal Citizens: Jose Carlos Gomez Fernandez and Jose Antonio Garcia Sanchez.
Grupo Municipal Izquierda Unida: Berbell Marin and Juan Luis Martinez Arasa.
