In compliance with the provisions of the Law on Local Government, the Mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, has distributed the responsibilities between the members of his government team and designated as group spokesman Enrique Fuentes Blanc as Esther deputy spokespersons Marin Poveda, Soria Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez and Maria Gloria Gomez.
The responsibilities of each Department are distributed as follows: Esther Poveda takes the areas of Citizen Participation, Education and Youth;
Enrique Fuentes is responsible for Planning, Works, Utilities, Agriculture, Environment and districts;
Maria Julia Gimenez takes responsibility for Finance, Employment and Industry;
Antonio Donate handles own and Sports Human Resources functions;
Maria Jose Soria receives the departments of Health, Social Services, Women and Equality;
Oscar Martinez is the Minister of Culture, Celebrations, Heritage and New Technologies;
Maria Gloria Gomez directs the departments of Tourism, Handicrafts, Consumption and Trade, and Pedro Antonio Muñoz assumed the responsibility for Safety, Traffic and Emergency.
It will also hold the post of First Deputy Mayor Esther Poveda, deputy mayor Enrique Fuentes and third and fourth Antonio Gimenez and Maria Julia Donate respectively.
Regular meetings of the boards of government will be held the first and third Friday of each month, with the presence of the secretary general, the treasurer and the city auditor.
