Launched the new edition of "Young Caravaca" program with proposals for alternative entertainment for the summer (24/06/2015)

The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz launches the summer edition of "Young Caravaca", an entertainment program that includes workshops, summer schools, training courses and musical activities for children and young people to find alternative ways fun and healthy during the holiday period.

The presentation of this program has been attended by the mayor, José Moreno, and the councilman of Youth, Esther Poveda, who stressed the importance of young people spend their free time with activities to amuse them but at the same time contribute to their training and channel their creativity.

The aim of the "Young Caravaca" program, which consists of three annual programs depending on the seasons, is to encourage youth participation in a meeting as the Youth Center parishes and social centers.

In addition, the program aims to enable young people to be formed with non-formal education courses and promote work-life balance for parents, offering activities during holidays, weekends and festivities.

Among the proposals are part of the summer edition of "Young Caravaca" highlights seven workshops on various topics: archeology, Climbing, Photography, Crafts, Theatre, Kitchen and, as a novelty, a workshop Initiation DJ for young people to learn easy to "click" music form.

In addition, traditional summer schools, with the parents facilitates the reconciliation of work and family life are offered.

This school year will be held in collaboration with the Caravaca Sports Center, a component of inclusion, as it is adapted to children with disabilities, and two in the districts and Archivel Barranda.

Given the demand, the Youth Council repeated this summer course "Monitor and Leisure", to be conducted intensively over July.

The goal is to train and qualify in the field of non-formal education and animation.

Students will get the official certificate issued by the Regional School of Leisure of the Autonomous Community, which opens a door professional in the field of leisure.

To continue giving the opportunity to the bands newly created in our town, will continue with concerts and musical evenings that allow young music fans, many of which make use of the rehearsal of the Youth Centre, have a I am meeting space with peers with the same love and have the first chance to get on stage with the public.

In addition, as of June 29, the Youth Center, in order to adapt to the time schedule of young people and children on holiday, change their usual schedule, open weekdays from 18.00 to 24.00 hours, in order to take advantage of the leisure in the evenings and nights of summer.

Informajoven continue to provide its usual services, from 9.00 to 14.00.
