The Ministry of Health plans to reform and expand the health center of Caravaca and build a new theater in the district hospital
The Municipal People's Party spokesman Caravaca, José Francisco Garcia and Councilman Jose Antonio Furio, have held a meeting with the Minister of Health, Encarna Guillen, once adopted unanimously at the last regular plenary a motion by the popular urge the regional government to initiate the appropriate administrative procedure for the purchase and supply of a new team of Computed Tomography (CT) for the Northwest Regional Hospital.
Garcia stressed "the willingness of the Minister of Health to this request as necessary as technological obsolescence of current scanner translates into a series of delays in carrying out the tests to patients when it is broken due to the replacement parts, which are very difficult to achieve. "
Popular spokesman has expressed the hope that the new TAC arrive in the near future to the hospital because the Department of Caravaca soon start the administrative procedure for it.
A CT scan provides highly accurate images that enable a diagnosis and identify the pathological processes and determine what happens to a patient and is not seen in conventional radiology.

Both actions would be launched in the first quarter of next year.
