Recounts the final weeks of the painter Francisco de Goya in Madrid, before his self-exile to France
The play "The Dream of Reason" by Antonio Buero Vallejo, is staged this Friday, November 13, at 21.00, in the theater Thuillier.
It is a production of the Railway Company, in co-production with Teatro Circo Murcia, reaching Caravaca de la Cruz funded by the Institute of Cultural Industries of the Region of Murcia (ICA) and the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca .
This adaptation of the director Paco Macia is listed as "Recommended by the National Theatre Network Show" and was worthy of the first prize of Don Quixote Festival in Paris.
The representation has been through major national and international stages, as 'El Circulo de Bellas Artes' in Madrid, Valencia Rialto Theatre, the Buero Vallejo of Guadalajara, the Baeza Theatre Festival or the International Theatre Festival of Iberian Expressão Porto.
'The Sleep of Reason', Buero Vallejo, one of the most important Spanish dramatists of the twentieth century, recounts the final weeks of residence of the painter Francisco de Goya in Madrid, just before his self-exile in France in December 1823. The personal, social, political and metaphysical conflicts form a production artist who expresses a profound social criticism and satire.
